§ 01Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LawnMowPros.com ("Site") and the lawn care services booked through it. By booking a service, you agree to these Terms in full.
LawnMowPros is a technology platform that connects customers with independent local lawn care contractors. We are not a lawn care company ourselves — your service is performed by a vetted independent contractor in your area. Think of us as the booking and management layer that handles everything so you don't have to.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and LawnMowPros regarding your use of our platform and services.
§ 02Services Offered
LawnMowPros currently offers the following residential lawn care services, bookable online:
- Standard Lawn Service: Mow, edge, and blow — all grass clippings cleared from walkways and driveways
- Frequencies: Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or one-time service
- Sizes: Small (up to 3,000 sq ft), Medium (3,000–6,000 sq ft), Large (6,000–10,000 sq ft), and Extra Large (10,000+ sq ft)
Additional services such as landscaping, fertilization, or leaf removal are not currently included unless explicitly listed on the Site at the time of booking. Services are available in selected metro areas only. Your zip code will be validated at checkout.
§ 03Booking & Scheduling
All bookings are made online through lawnmowpros.com. Once you complete payment, your booking is confirmed and a local contractor will be assigned to your job within 24 hours.
Scheduling window: We aim to honor your selected date. In rare cases of contractor unavailability, we may reschedule your service within 48 hours of the original date and will notify you promptly.
Access to your property: You are responsible for ensuring the lawn is accessible on the scheduled date. This includes unlocking gates, moving vehicles that block lawn access, and securing pets. If our crew cannot access the lawn, the visit may be marked as a lockout (see Section 5 for cancellation policy).
Recurring services: If you book a recurring plan (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), your service will automatically schedule and you will be charged for each visit. You may pause or cancel anytime per Section 5.
§ 04Payment & Pricing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. LawnMowPros does not store your card details.
Prices are shown clearly at checkout and are based on your lawn size and service frequency. Prices are per visit and are locked in at booking. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future bookings with 14 days notice.
For recurring plans, your card will be charged before each scheduled visit. You will receive an email receipt for every transaction.
Pricing transparency: The price you see is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no fuel surcharges, no tip pressure.
§ 05Cancellation & Refunds
One-time bookings: Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled service for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable, as your contractor has already been dispatched and committed to the job.
Recurring plans: Cancel anytime with no penalty. Simply cancel before the next scheduled service date (at least 24 hours prior) and no further charges will be made.
Lockouts: If your crew arrives and cannot access the lawn (locked gate, no entry, aggressive pet), the visit will be recorded as a lockout. Lockouts are treated as same-day cancellations and are non-refundable. Please ensure access before your scheduled date.
Weather: We do not reschedule for light rain. In cases of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule at no charge and notify you by SMS.
§ 06Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of every job. If you're not satisfied with your service, contact us within 24 hours of completion with a description of the issue and a photo if possible. We will:
- Send the contractor back to correct the issue at no charge, or
- Issue a partial or full credit toward your next service, at our discretion
Our guarantee covers workmanship quality — missed sections, unfinished edging, clippings left on pavement. It does not cover subjective aesthetic preferences or conditions caused by factors outside the contractor's control (overgrown or wet grass, yard debris, etc.).
§ 07Your Property
You confirm that you have the legal right to authorize lawn care services at the service address — either as the owner or with the owner's explicit permission (e.g., tenant with landlord authorization).
Please ensure your lawn is clear of hazards before each visit, including:
- Toys, hoses, garden tools, or debris that could interfere with mowing
- Pet waste (our crews will not mow lawns with significant pet waste present)
- Sprinkler heads or irrigation lines that are above ground or unmarked
LawnMowPros and its contractors are not liable for damage to objects left on the lawn that were not disclosed at booking. If our crew encounters hazards, they may skip affected areas and note it in their completion report.
§ 08Our Contractors
All LawnMowPros contractors are vetted independent contractors who have agreed to our Contractor Terms of Service, including professional conduct standards and completion requirements.
Contractors are not employees of LawnMowPros. However, we actively monitor ratings, completion photos, and customer feedback to maintain quality across our network. Contractors with persistent quality issues are removed from the platform.
Direct solicitation: Please do not solicit contractors to perform work outside the LawnMowPros platform. Circumventing the platform exposes you to unvetted, uninsured, and untracked service. Any direct arrangements made outside the platform are entirely between you and the contractor — LawnMowPros bears no responsibility for services arranged outside our system.
§ 09Acceptable Use
By using LawnMowPros, you agree not to:
- Provide false information at booking (wrong address, size misrepresentation)
- Harass, threaten, or abuse contractors or LawnMowPros staff
- Initiate fraudulent chargebacks for services that were properly completed
- Attempt to solicit contractors for off-platform arrangements
- Use the platform in any unlawful manner
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service and ban accounts that violate these terms.
§ 10Limitation of Liability
LawnMowPros operates as a platform connecting customers and independent contractors. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform or services in all areas at all times
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Portland, Oregon, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
§ 11Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. We collect only the information necessary to process your booking and deliver your service — name, address, email, phone, and payment details. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your address and contact information is shared with your assigned contractor solely for the purpose of completing your booked service. Contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations in their Terms.
